S&P software flagships
KKW-Online 2.1
This Unix-based system was developed to monitor the distribution and dispersion of radioactive emissions from nuclear power plants under consideration of real-time meteorology. It runs fully automatically on any Unix-based system. A Solaris version is installed in the separate power plants, and a second Linux-based version is installed in the Bavarian Environment Agency.
WinKFZ 7.1
This Windows-based application allows the user to create and edit streets, buildings and other scene elements. The system then incorporates meteorological statistics and topographical information to simulate the particle dispersion and resulting immission impact using numerical models.
Other S&P software products
Air.Lag
In cooperation with an internationally renowned steel manufacturing group, this application uses an offline dispersion database to quickly assess the toxin impact of steelmill emissions on the surrounding urban area.
Bavaria X5
In collaboration with the Bavarian government, all previous applications in the Bavaria product line were combined into this single, powerful software package. Using an offline database, this Windows application allows the user to estimate the traffic-induced loads for any stretch of motorway in Bavaria, taking into consideration such elements as traffic volumes, speed limits, and sound barriers.
CanyonPlot 3.0
This Windows application simulates wind vortexes in street canyons and the consequent distribution of traffic-based immissions, and allows the user to plot a vertical cross-section of the results. Unlike other available products, S&P's Canyon software allows the user to define a variable number of traffic lanes, and takes extended parameters such as background levels and sun intensity into account.
Immiskop ABDSd
This tool is used by Bavarian motorway authorities to assess the effect of proposed noise abatement walls along Bavarian motorways.
MeteoVis 2.0
This Windows application was implemented to provide the government of Tyrol with a tool to visualise and interpret data measured on meteorology and immissions for five measurement stations in the Pustertal valley.
MeteoPlot
This Windows tool was implemented to quickly visualise and interpret vertical meteorological data profiles as provided by SODAR/RASS units. Each animation consists of up to three panels: a vertical wind temperature profile (including +2/-2 spline), vertical air temperature profile, and a vertical wind vector profile.
MobiNET
In cooperation with the Bavarian capital Munich, S&P designed a software package that allows the user to assess the traffic emission distribution in Munich, depending on traffic configuration and meteorology.
WinKFZ Viewer 7.2
This Windows-based application can load and display simulation results contained in project files created in WinKFZ. This enables users of WinKFZ to distribute their result data to third parties without having to purchase additional licenses.
